(331) 天の川名に流れたるかひありて今宵の月はことに澄みけり

天の川の名で知られるだけに、ここで見る今宵の月はことに澄んでいます

Known as Amanokawa, the moon tonight here is especially clear.

天の川：大阪府枚方市を流れる天野川または銀河。

 

(332) さやかなる影にてしるし秋の月十夜にあまれる五日なりけり

清かな影が示すのは十夜に五日をあます（十五夜の）秋の月です

The clear shadow shows the autumn moon that counts five days from the ten night moon.

十夜（とよ）

 

(333) うちつけにまた来ん秋の今宵まで月ゆゑ惜しくなる命かな

突然、月は私に来年の秋の夜まで生きたいと思わせました

Suddenly, the moon made me want to live until the autumn night next year.

 

(334) 秋はただ今宵一夜の名なりけり同じ雲居に月はすめども

（今宵以外も）月は同じ空にあるが、秋というのはまさにこの夜のことです

Autumn is just the name of this night, although the moon is still in the same sky.

 

(335) 老いもせぬ十五の年もあるものを今宵の月のかからましかば

十五歳で年をとらなくなる稚児神のように今宵の月もそうあってほしい

I hope tonight's moon will be like the Child God who stops aging at the age of fifteen.

 

(336) 月見れば影なく雲につつまれて今宵ならずは闇に見えまし

月は雲につつまれて影さえ見えません。（十五夜）の今宵でなければ闇に包まれていたことでしょう。

The moon is covered by clouds and not even a shadow can be seen. If it wasn't tonight (the fifteenth night), we would be shrouded in darkness.

 

(337)　入りぬとやあづまに人は惜しむらん都に出づる山の端の月

月が山に隠れたと東国の人は惜しんでいるだろうか。都では月はまだ山の端に出ています

I wonder if people in the eastern provinces are sad that the moon has disappeared behind the mountains. In the capital, the moon is still visible on the edge of the mountains.

 

(338) 待ち出でて隈なき宵の月見れば雲ぞ心にまづかかりける

月の出を待って雲のない宵の月を見ると、すぐに雲がかかりはしないかと心にかかります

When I wait for the moon to rise and see the moon on a cloudless evening, I worry that the clouds will soon 

appear.

 

(339) 秋風や天つ雲居をはらふらん更けゆくままに月のさやけき

秋風が空の雲をはらったのだろうか、夜が更けゆくほどに月が明るくなりました

The autumn wind may have cleared the clouds from the sky. The moon grew brighter as the night went on.

 

(340) 何処とてあはれあらずはなけれども荒れたる宿ぞ月はさびしき

月はどこで見ても趣深いものだけれど、荒れた宿で見る月こそさびしいものです

The moon is fascinating no matter where I see it, but it is especially lonely to see in a rundown inn.
